STOP Prostate Cancer — PSA test (free or voucher)
The STOP Prostate Cancer program is intended for men aged 40–49. The PSA test can be performed free of charge at partner sample-collection sites (SYNLAB, Lab In, CITYLAB, NL-BioLAB), or as a comprehensive examination at a provider with a voucher/contribution of up to CZK 1,200. From age 50, prostate screening is covered by public health insurance.
Eligibility conditions
- Valid preventive check-up with a general practitioner (no older than 2 years)
- No outstanding insurance debt
- Claimed via the VITAKARTA portal or vouchers
Jak čerpat
- Free option: go to a partner sample-collection site (SYNLAB, Lab In, CITYLAB, NL-BioLAB) and request the PSA test.
- Voucher/contribution: pay for the comprehensive examination and submit the receipt in VITAKARTA or at an OZP branch office.
